CREAMARE project at the “Super Science Me” event at UNICAL!
CREAMARE project was showcased by 3D Research during the Super Science Me event at the University of Calabria (Rende, CS).
Last 27th September, the CREAMARE project was presented by 3D Research at the Super Science Me event, held at the University of Calabria (Rende, CS). This event provided a valuable opportunity to share our mission and the core values that inspire us, including raising awareness of our underwater cultural heritage and the importance of preserving and protecting our oceans.
During the event, we also showcased CREAMARE: The Game, a video game entirely focused on the promotion of underwater cultural heritage. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to experience a demo, immersing themselves virtually in one of the nine captivating underwater sites in the Mediterranean that will be featured in the full version of the game.
It was an intense and inspiring day, with an overwhelmingly positive response from numerous visitors, brimming with enthusiasm and curiosity, who actively engaged with us to learn more about the project’s goals and vision.
They expressed great interest not only in our objectives but also in the innovative methods we are employing to raise public awareness of Underwater Cultural Heritage. The chance to try out a preview demo of the video game captivated people of all ages, who thoroughly enjoyed the immersive and interactive experience. This response highlights how effective new technologies can be in communicating and showcasing the richness of our underwater heritage, making it more accessible and engaging to a broad audience.
We are very proud of the feedback we have received and the enthusiasm you have shown for our initiatives. Stay tuned for further updates on the game development and upcoming project initiatives!
