Innovation and virtual reality: showcasing CREAMARE The Game at the INNOVAZUL Forum!
The testing and promotion of CREAMARE: The Game continues with enthusiasm! Last November, thanks to the participation of our partner University of Cádiz, the project was presented at the “INNOVAZUL Forum”, a major event dedicated to the blue economy and collaboration between institutions, researchers and companies. This context of excellence offered the perfect opportunity to showcase the research and innovation work that led to the creation of the Serious Game.
We set up two stands: one focused on explaining the research process, and the other dedicated to communication and knowledge transfer: the latter section was designed to offer an immersive, multi-sensory experience. Visitors could walk on a life-size canvas reproducing the archaeological site in the game, use virtual reality glasses to immerse themselves in 360º videos of the site, explore 3D reconstructions of objects and environments through tablets, and test the Serious Game itself.
Our stand attracted a lot of interest, especially for the use of virtual reality and 3D reconstructions, which offered participants an unprecedented immersive experience.
We are grateful to all those who visited our stand, shared their enthusiasm and contributed to the success of this unique experience!
